Social Media Content Manager

Job Description

Neff is seeking a full-time Social Media Content Manager. The Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day content creation and community management across all social media channels for designated clients. This individual will be responsible for the editorial content calendar, community engagement, content development, social sharing, and any other additional creative needs. They will need to post content, ensure timely responses, manage client campaigns, and make sure that the brand voice, feel, and look is carried out across all applicable platforms. The individual should have familiarity with current and emerging social platforms with a proven track record of getting tasks done quickly and efficiently.   • Create all content for clients from start to finish
  • Ensure all posts maintain a consistent look/feel, tone, and voice
  • Mediate, and if necessary, properly escalate customer service concerns with appropriate client contacts in a timely manner
  • Tailor posts to the unique needs of users in different social channels
  • Identify content that drives overall engagement
  • Be aware of the social metrics reports and their implications for future initiatives
  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager to establish benchmarks and KPIs
  • The ability to share content calendars, learnings and best practices with other departments within the agency
  • Work with the PR team to identify and leverage opportunities for content and social activation
  • Be a “content opportunist” – identify and develop interesting, unique ways to further promote the brand and its overall message

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a digital communications role with responsibility for social media including organic and paid
  • Previous client contact and account management
  • BA/BS in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working on social media platforms for a company
  • Experience with content creation for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and any other applicable programs
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and all relevant content creation tools and platforms
  • Experience with Sprout Social preferred, but not necessary
  • Proven high-quality photography portfolio
  • Can multitask and manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Willing and able to work weekends if needed
  • High attention to details – excellent written and verbal skills
  • Familiarity with established and emerging social platforms
  • Assertive and resourceful with a proven track record of getting things done
