21st Century Cyber Charter School, Pennsylvania’s top-performing cyber charter school, allows students to maximize their individual interests and strengths in an alternative, successful set-ting. Neff filmed the school’s first-ever TV spot, which celebrates the individuality and pursuits of 21CCCS students.
We scripted, storyboarded, planned, shot, and edited the video with precise care to highlight the academics and athletics of the students, the flexibility the school offers, and the success of both the school and its students. The commercial attracted students and parents who were looking for a school that would accommodate their rigorous academic and activity schedules.
Neff created an ongoing advertising campaign for 21CCCS, featuring real students and parents. The campaign emphasizes the flexibility that online education offers young children, especially athletes and performers. The advertising ranges from out of home to digital ads. The main goal of the advertising is directing traffic to the website and was successful with, most recently, over 20,000 visits to the website from August to September alone.
Our team developed custom radio spots to run on Pandora in conjunction with the launch of the new 21CCCS branding and advertising campaign. The spots featured actual students, parents and teachers of the school, and were designed to help create a buzz around the success of the current students and passionate faculty.
Neff Associates has increased 21st Century’s brand awareness and overall student enrollment by leveraging both organic and paid social media strategies. Our content humanizes the brand by highlighting 21CCCS’s culture, capabilities, and quality, while our paid social tactics simultaneously increase website traffic and overall student enrollment by targeting the appropriate audiences.

The Public Relations Team has significantly increased the visibility of the DNB First brand, it’s thought leaders and charitable good-works both regionally and nationally.
In 2016, Neff Associates facilitated the communication of DNB First’s acquisition of East River Bank and updated the creative to reflect the bank’s new and evolving brand.
Anchoring our marketing effort for East River Bank was the creation of our “Bank Local” campaign. The creative featured real Philadelphia business owners who work with East River Bank and operate within the three East River Bank communities. The campaign was supplemented with an ongoing “Bank Mobile” message to highlight the bank’s many extensive mobile capabilities.
Oliver Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electrical and Remodeling is a home services provider in the Delaware Valley with a rich history and an authentic commitment to their customers and quality of service.
As part of our fully integrated partnership, we refreshed the look and feel of Oliver’s advertising creative, worked with the company on a comprehensive brand promises review process and provided a strategic media plan that includes digital radio, print, out of home, television and online advertising. In conjunction with this we also created an ongoing social media strategy and seasonal PR campaigns.

Public Relations
Our PR campaigns for Oliver position the company as the leading home expert for cooling and heating needs. We connected with local media outlets to promote the relevant services for each season as well as highlight Oliver’s promotions and initiatives to make their target audience aware of all the great work that they do.
In January 2019, Oliver celebrated their 20th season of their “Heat for the Holidays” initiative and gave the gift of a warmth to families in need throughout the community. The Neff PR team secured coverage on FOX 29, NBC10 and 6ABC, who shared the news of this “Philly Proud”, feel good story, making it the most successful year of the program to date. As part of our efforts, the team also secured a service technician ride-along segment on NBC10 and landed a “Best Places to Work 2018” nomination from the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Our social media team collaborates with Oliver for ongoing social media strategy, which includes both organic content and paid advertising campaigns. Through our strategy, we help the Oliver team effectively communicate all the services they have to offer, reach new potential customers, drive website traffic, generate new business, and humanize the Oliver brand.
Geno’s is one of the most iconic and successful sandwich joints in America. Maintaining and growing Geno’s business was Job 1. With strong competition in the city, our job was to raise awareness about Geno’s community involvement, publicize the launch of the new Geno’s Steaks retail store, generate new customers and fans outside of the Greater Philadelphia Region through national outreach, highlight the expansion of Geno’s Steaks to new locations, fully leverage celebrity sightings, create buzz about new product launches, and position Geno as an expert voice in the lifestyle, business, and food/hospitality spaces.
Solution
The Neff Team collaborated closely with Geno Vento in creating new ways to grow the business. Celebrating 50 great years in business, increasing the visibility of the Geno’s Brand on a national level and expanding the popularity of Geno’s with both locals and tourists alike. Through integrated PR and Social Media efforts, we continuously place Geno at the front of the attention of news outlets, talk shows, influencers, and customers both around Philadelphia and around the country.
The Neff team worked with Geno’s Steaks to design an out-of-home advertising campaign featured on Septa buses and transit shelters. The goal of the branding initiative was to replicate the experience of “going to the real thing.” Examples of the creative can be seen below.
In conjunction with the integrated campaign efforts, the Neff design team collaborated with Geno’s to draft potential 50th Anniversary marks. Below is a small sampling of our process. Along with the icon design process, we prepared additional creative deliverables such as print and online advertising.
The Social Media Team working hand-in-hand with the PR Team work in leveraging Geno’s vibrant colorful building and brand, their great sandwiches, celebrities that visit as well as highlighting America’s favorite sandwich guy, Geno Vento himself.
Our team targeted top-tier national outlets to promote Geno’s Steaks, such as Today, CNN, The Daily Show, Fox and Friends and MSNBC. Articles in these publications not only garnered the brand higher exposure in the Philadelphia market, but also helped promote them to a wider audience nationally
The PR Team put Geno’s on the forefront of the national spotlight with TV features and an expanded digital presence and ensure that locals keep their favorite Cheese Steak joint top-of-mind.
The website was designed to reflect the modern, simplistic approach to the brand. The only instance of color within the whole brand appears in photography on the website once you’ve clicked into interior pages. To compliment the minimalist layout of the website, we designed effects and interactions in every corner, leaving no part of the website feeling static.
