A local bank in the Philadelphia area that has been helping individuals, families, and businesses reach their financial goals for over 150 years.

Project Goal

DNB First called upon Neff to increase the visibility of their well respected brand upon their purchase of East River Bank. With a 150 year history and branches throughout Chester and Delaware counties, DNB First looked to Neff, the agency that represented East River Bank, to now help launch branches in Philadelphia county. After effectively communicating the transition from East River Bank to DNB First, the goals shifted to publicizing and advertising their banking products to both new and current customers in order to maintain and expand their market.

Project Solution

DNB First offers a full range of products and services in personal banking, business banking, and wealth management along with a dedicated team of experts to assist customers in reaching their financial goals. Neff collaborated across advertising, media buying, public relations, and social media to first communicate East River Bank’s transition to DNB First in 2016, then to promote the wide range of banking products and promotions and emphasize the bank’s commitment to community. Our integrated approach has supported significant growth in the bank’s assets, loan portfolio and newly acquired accounts.

Advertising

We coordinated the advertising and media strategy for a comprehensive range of products across personal banking, business banking, and wealth management in addition to creating other collateral materials such as invitations and sponsorship ads for community events. After the transition from East River Bank, we updated the look of the creative to reflect the bank’s new and evolving brand.

Videography

We utilized videography to capture the bank’s involvement in the community and help to humanize the brand. This video of the 2019 Wissahickon Trail Classic, sponsored by DNB First, captures this commitment to supporting the community.

Social Media

The SM Team has helped increase the visibility and credibility of the DNB First by highlighting business banking, consumer education, community events and philanthropy.

Public Relations

Our PR team has significantly increased the visibility of the DNB First brand, it’s thought leaders and charitable good-works both regionally and nationally.

East River Bank Becomes DNB First

In 2016, Neff Associates facilitated the communication of DNB First’s acquisition of East River Bank through an extensive outdoor advertising campaign.

Bank Local

East River Bank came to Neff is 2014 to help increase brand awareness. Our integrated marketing effort was anchored in our “Bank Local” campaign, which featured real Philadelphia business owners who work with East River Bank and operate within the three East River Bank communities. The campaign was supplemented with an ongoing “Bank Mobile” message to highlight the bank’s many extensive mobile capabilities.
