VFTCB Marketing Case Study

A March Madness style competition to find the best pizza in Montgomery County.

Project Goal

The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board sought a partner to help brand and promote their fifth annual Montco’s Best Pizza Tournament. Neff utilized an integrated approach to coordinate Branding, Social Media, Public Relations, and Videography to raise awareness about the tournament.

Project Solution

We collaborated with the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board to create a fun and eye-catching brand. Custom iconography and typography combine in an updated take on an established pizzeria feel. Neff also conducted Public Relations outreach, Social Media promotion and a high-energy video to create excitement for the launch of the competition.

Logo Development

The logo combines elements of a classic pizza brand with a modern feel. Custom typography, illustration and vibrant colors make a unique mark that accommodates a large amount of content in an organized way.


Neff created an artful and energetic video to inform the public about the tournament and set the tone for the competition. The video showcases the last three winners of the Montco’s Best Pizza Tournament and creates excitement for the launch of the event. Neff handled all pre-production, filming, and post-production in-house.

Social Media

Neff utilized social media posts across all platforms to raise awareness about the tournament. We created colorful, dynamic animations to promote voting deadlines and information.

Public Relations

To promote the tournament and drive patrons to vote for their favorite pizza shop, our PR team organized coverage across local news outlets including FOX29, CBS3 and NBC10.
