Philadelphia Distilling Marketing Case Study

The first craft distillery to open in the state of Pennsylvania since Prohibition. They combine unique craftsmanship and modern techniques to create premium spirits.

Project Goal

Philadelphia Distilling, and specifically its flagship product, Bluecoat Gin, are names well known within certain circles in the Philadelphia market. The goal of their engagement with Neff was to elevate that brand awareness to a higher level, launch a new product into the marketplace, and develop a video to tell the Bluecoat story. Three different goals with different Neff services used as solutions.

Project Solution

The Neff videography team worked with the Philadelphia Distilling team to concept, script, shoot and edit a mini documentary style video to tell the story of Bluecoat American Dry Gin. Through this piece, Philadelphia Distilling now has a strong visual tool to communicate their message to new audiences.

The Neff PR team also launched a market wide brand awareness campaign for Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin that saw huge levels of exposure and resulted in sales that far surpassed initial expectations.
